Charles Joseph Lambert

Keatchie, LA Charles Joseph Lambert was born in Napoleonville, LA, his parents were Elodie Marquette and Edgar Lambert. He went to be with his Lord December 28, 2014 in Tyler, TX.

Mr. Lambert graduated from Assumption High School and he served in the US Army in the early 60’s. While living in Shreveport he retired from AT&T with 30 years of service. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Silver Fox Golf Club and the Pioneer Golf Club. Chuck was an active member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. He loved LSU football!

Mr. Lambert is preceded in death by his wife Kiyoko Lambert. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Bruner, Debra Hull and husband Bobby, and Cathy Dupree and husband Cecil; his brothers, Phillip Lambert and wife Gloria, Gerald Lambert and wife Donna, and Robert Lambert and wife Kathy; an aunt, Geraldine Marquette; and several other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Friday, January 2, 2015, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Murry Hodge. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 1:00 PM until service time.

The family wishes a special thank you to Sue Whitworth for being there for Chuck for the last two years. Also the family wishes to thank Joann Boyd for always being there and for being such a special friend through the years.
