Christopher Wayne "Chris" Lindamood, age 59, of Shreveport, Louisiana went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Christopher was born November 28, 1962 in Austin, Texas to William and Wanda Lindamood.
Chris was described by his family as a drifter/nomad for most of his life. He settled down in Shreveport where he eventually met his wife Jenson. Chris was a workaholic until diagnosed with renal failure in 2015. He fought hard to live life to the fullest and be active in his family's life. He had such courage and strength. He absolutely adored all of his children, but his daughter Rosaleigh was the apple of his eye. Chris loved watching movies, taking his wife out to eat and traveling. He especially loved spending time with Rosaleigh and Jenson.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents, William Stuart and Wanda K. Lindamood.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Jenson Lindamood; daughter, Rosaleigh Aviv Lindamood; son, Wesley Scott Lindamood; step-daughter, Autumn Godwin; sisters, Cindy Finney (Andy) and Kathy Gibson (Brad); brother and best friend, Bill Lindamood; four (4) living aunts and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Shreveport Community Church, 5720 Buncombe Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71129. Rev. Brian Opbroek will be officiating.
