Danny H. "Bucky" Joy III

Funeral services for Danny H. “Bucky” Joy, III, 38 of Shreveport, LA will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2010 in Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Carscadden of The Christian Center. Burial will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Centuries.

Danny was born on April 4, 1972 in Merrysville, CA and passed away in Shreveport on June 21, 2010. He has been a longtime resident of Shreveport. Danny sold cars with his father at Danny Joy’s Car Sales. He was a wonderful father and loved his daughter very much. Danny was a loving son and an avid outdoorsman. He was truly one of a kind.

Danny was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents also his cousin Brandy Cosby. Survivors include his father, Danny Joy, Jr.; mother, Pam Bronson and husband Tim; daughter, Alexis Renee Joy; girlfriend and mother of his daughter, Jerri Kaye Allbritton; sister, Paige Bronson; brother, Nicholas Bronson; aunt, Sheila Brumley; uncles, Donald Litton and Jack Joy and wife Wanda; cousins, Jack Joy, Jr., Brandi McLaughlin and husband Corey, Keith Cosby and wife Christy, Chris Davis and Jennifer Ford and numerous other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Michael Stewart, Jeff Crawford, Andy Bracknell, Reggie O’Neal, Chris McInnis and Nathan Lee.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Joy, Jr., Chris Davis, Nick Bronson, Keith Cosby and Craig Ferrier.
