Funeral services for David Pierce, 64, of Shreveport, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 16, 2026, in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana, with Pastor Scott Ethridge officiating. A visitation will be held immediately before the service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park.
David was born on October 23, 1961 in Shreveport, and passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, March 13, 2026, at his residence in Shreveport. David was passionate about everything he did. He loved God, studying His Word, and his wife and family. David’s love for the Lord was shown in every interaction that he had, be it family, friend or stranger. He was a member of The Healing Place Church in Shreveport where he served in many capacities over the years, such as senior adult Sunday school teacher. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and served multiple terms as Chaplain of the Son Seekers Chapter in Minden, LA.
David co-owned Alliance Construction Services with his brother. He thrived on creating and loved to build. He was a mentor and leader to his employees. David was a member of many business and construction associations including the Louisiana Association of General Contractors. He ran his life and business with a servant’s heart. He was a true giver that loved making a difference in his community.
Survivors include his wife of almost 25 years, Shelli Clark Pierce, daughter, Sarah Mulhearn Haines and husband Anthony of Benton; sons, Derek Pierce, and Connor Pierce and wife Hannah; and granddaughter, Lily Ana Pierce, all of Shreveport. He is also survived by his parents, William and Katherine Pierce of Shreveport, brothers, Robert Len Pierce and wife Lindy of Greenwood, and Dennis Pierce and wife Tammy of Shreveport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Brian Gentry, Christopher Thompson, Taylor Pierce, Kevin Deacon, Dalton Pierce, and Landon Martin.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to his personal caregiver, Tikisha Webster and the staff of Bristol Hospice in Shreveport.
