Debbie Sue Triplet Cope

Debbie “Sue” Triplet Cope was born May 28, 1955 in Ft. Sill, OK. She went to be with her Savior April 27, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Debbie grew up in Shreveport and was a 1974 graduate of Woodlawn High School. She spent most of her career working at area hospitals and doctor’s offices. She was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family and married the love of her life, Karl.

Debbie is preceded in death by her father, Daniel N. Triplet and a brother, Michael N. Triplet. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Karl W. Cope, sons, Christopher Cope and Dusty Cope and wife Lindsey; granddaughter, Audrey Cope; mother, Jeanette Triplet; sister and best friend, Charlotte Triplet; brothers, Wayne Triplet and wife Angie, Lloyd Triplet and wife Valerie and Drexel Triplet and wife Melanie; brother in law, James Cope and wife Cyndi; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

A service celebrating the life of Debbie “Sue” Triplet Cope will be held Monday, May 1, 2017, 3:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Kathryn “Kat” Arnold. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 5 until 7 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are: Cameron Callaway, Charley Martin Forshee III, Kyle Triplet, Danny Triplet, Aaron Callaway, Dean Arnold, and Chris Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Cope and Dusty Cope.
