Debra Anne Byers

Debra had a distinguished career as a forensic accountant in Washington, DC before she was a Certified Public Accountant for over 30 years in the ArkLaTex, where she worked diligently to uphold the highest standards of her profession. She was a devoted sister, a loving daughter, a doting aunt, and a loyal and supportive friend to many. Her kindness and generosity extended beyond her family, touching the lives of all who knew her. Her infectious smile and genuine care will be fondly remembered by friends and family alike.

Debra is survived by her sister Mary Lecocq, her brothers Phil Byers (Debbie), Steve Byers (Tina) and Craig Byers; her nephews James Lecocq, John Lecocq, Casey Byers, Bradley Byers, Joshua Byers, John Byers, her nieces Jessica Glenn, and Mary Elizabeth Byers.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents Homer O. Byers (Mary L.).

A celebration of life at graveside for Debra will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Pelican Cemetery, on Commerce St., Pelican, LA 71063. Debra will be laid to rest in Pelican Cemetery.
