Donald Charles Branch

He is preceded in death by his parents Harrell and Maggie Branch, wife of 39 years Georgie Mae Branch, brothers Lee and Bobby Branch and sister Sherrill Tharpe.

Donald is survived by his sons Donald Alton Branch and Maria, David Harold Branch and Don, Dennis Wayne Branch and Jennifer, and his favorite daughter Darlena Marie Branch and Rick. Nine grandchildren Ethan, Jeb, Kenneth, Kamryn, Lizzy, Jr, Frank, Jana, Jesus and great-granddaughter Mila. Brothers Harrell Wayne Branch and Dedie, Mike Branch and Janice, Ronnie Branch and Linda. Sister Dieanne Middleton and Donald Ray, too many other Branch's and Henley's, nieces, nephews and friends to mention them all. Last but certainly not least Myrtis Sullivan, thank you for loving our daddy.

He was affectionately known as Don, Donald, Pawpaw, Dad, Daddy, Old Man and my favorite Deddy.

Donald was drafted in 1961 and served as a medic in the US Army. He worked for Poulan's in the model shop over 40 years. He joined the American Legion and went to line dance class later in life and had many wonderful friends. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, music, dancing, working in his yard and spending time with family and friends. Most of all he loved to laugh. He was always prepared to tell a corny joke just to see people laugh.

Donald's children send special thanks to Eric Smith MD, Beth and Toni for the care you gave him. A special thank you to the ladies at Heartsway Hospice in Carthage. Shelby, Amy and Bobbie, we couldn't have done it without you.
