Elizabeth Ann Breen was born September 23, 1932 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to the late Janel Hobbs and Jack Linson. She worked as a cashier at 7/11, where she was the first female ever hired. Her work ethic launched her to become Regional manager of Northwest Louisiana before retiring. Her and her husband shared a love for the American Legion and Auxiliary. She had the best time of her life dancing at the VFW. Elizabeth was known for her sassy wit and her infectious smile.
Elizabeth passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana at the age of 92. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Breen Sr., sons, William Earl Breen Jr. and Charles Lambert Breen; parents; and siblings, Toby Russell, Bill Linson and Ruth Ferlito.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jason Breen and wife Lisa and Jack Breen; daughter-in-law, Leann Breen; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Friday, June 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM. Pastor David Daniel of Celebration Church will officiate the services. Serving as pallbearers are James Brooks, Ricky Dunn, Kenny Ramirez, John Breen, Cody Dunn and Danny Foster with Lee Cambell serving as honorary pallbearer. She will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park.
