Mr. Everette Ray Harmon

SHREVEPORT. LA – Celebration of Life Services for Everette Ray Harmon will be held at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 p. m. on Thursday, July 12, 2012 with Bro. Billy Crosby of Summer Grove Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Harmon was born on January 30, 1932 and went to be with his Lord on July 9, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sydney Allen Harmon Sr. and Josephine Hornsby Harmon; and one brother, Sydney Harmon Jr. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Orlanda “Linda” Harmon; two daughters, Patricia Shoalmire and husband Richard; and Charlotte Goodman and husband Rusty; one brother, Bentley Harmon; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.

Mr. Harmon was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He loved the Lord and his church. He also loved to travel.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Oaks of Louisiana for their affectionate care.
