Gerald Morris Davis

Gerald Morris Davis, 89, of Shreveport LA, passed peacefully Monday, April 27th 2026 in Conway, AR. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather who modeled faith, generosity and strength throughout his life.

You could usually find him in the garden or in the swing out front. He was a retired welder who closed his career at Clarke's Allied. He is now reunited with his beloved wife of 69 years, Mary Nell Davis, who passed away in November 2025 and his daughter Dewanna King. He was also preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Gracie Davis and grandson in law Andy Mohnkern.

He was survived by his brother Charles Davis of Ellicott City, MD and his sister Linda Jones of Bullard TX, his daughter Gwen Foster (Rob) of Pittsburg, KS. His granddaughter Angela Mohnkern of Conway, AR. Two grandsons Nathan Dodd (Serena) of Lavaca, AR and Dominic Yanez (Devon) of Shreveport, LA. He had 5 great grandchildren Alexis Hobbs (TY), Carey Dodd, Mason Mohnkern, Macy Mohnkern and Caden Dodd. Great great granddaughter Addelyn Hobbs.
