Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Glenda Dew Johnson, 67, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at First Community Church in Mansfield, LA. Interment will follow at the First Community Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Toby Shaw. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Glenda was born on March 14, 1945 in Many, LA and passed away on June 23, 2012 in Shreveport, LA.
She was a member of The First Community Church in Mansfield, LA. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed working in her garden, reading and spending time with her family.
Preceding Mrs. Johnson in death were her parents, DeWitt and Elaine Dew; son, Raylon Clark and grandson, Matthew Clark.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Glenda is her husband of 25 years, Walter L. Johnson; her children, Shannon and Hal, Sharron, Robbie and Betty; 7 sisters; one brother; grandchildren, Dana, Jessica, Danielle, Robbin and Quinten; 1 great grandchild, Brylee and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Honoring Mrs. Johnson as pallbearers will be her nephews. Honorary pallbearer will be her grandson, Quinten Lawrence.
