

SHREVEPORT, LA – Services to honor the life of Mr. Harold M. Primos, 79, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Gary Boswell of Westview Christian Church. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Friday evening between the hours of 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Melvyne was born to Louis and Etta Mae (Herring) Primos on September 25, 1933, and left this life for his heavenly home on September 26, 2012.
Mr. Primos was in the sheet metal business for 60 years and taught the apprentice program for 20 years. Melvyne loved the great outdoors. Anyone who spent time with him knew of his love for nature, fishing, and hunting! He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed.
Melvyne is preceded in death by one sister, one brother, and his parents. He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years and high-school sweetheart, Barbara Primos; son, Terry Primos and wife, Patricia; daughter, Jeanie Dantes and husband, Allen; brother, Ronnie Primos and wife, Linda; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Honoring Mr. Primos as pallbearers are Richard Jones, Mark Primos, Joshua Lang, Nicholas Dantes, Donald LaCroix, and Kenneth Richmond.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of Melvyne’s sitters, caregivers, and the staff of Amedisys Hospice, along with their special angel, Robin Hill, for all of their compassion and care.
