Ms. Emerson was a wonderful and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and crafting; she also loved all flowers. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service for Hazel Marie Evett will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM held in the Kinkade Room at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. Officiating the services will be Pastor Steve Casey.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sheila Diane Gisel; son, David Evett; stepson, Frank Emerson; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her son, Gene Evett; daughters, Patricia Ann Bassett and Brenda Faye Chambers Ellis, along with her parents.
