Funeral services for Jackie Hamilton, 56, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Morell officiating. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2011, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Jackie passed away on June 18, 2011, at her home in Shreveport. She was lifted up by the lord and carried home after her brief battle with cancer. Jackie was born on April, 10 1955, in Shreveport, LA. She was a loving wife of 37 years as well as a mother, mawmaw, sister and friend. Her family was the most important thing to her and the driving force behind how she lived her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Irene Tyson, and her brother Robert Tyson.

Survivors include her loving husband David Hamilton; two sons Brad Hamilton and his wife Vicki, and Matthew Hamilton; two grandchildren Hunter and Shane; mother-in-law Norma Hamilton; nine siblings Deanna, Randy, Debra, Roger, Beverly, Lynn, Daphne, Susan, and Ann, and life-long friend Vicki.

Pallbearers will include her nephews.
