KEITHVILLE, LA – Services to honor the life of Mr. James H. “Jim” Lemley will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., at N.W. LA Veteran’s Cemetery in Keithville, LA. Officiating the service will be Dr. Kenny Joyner.
Jim went to be with The Lord, after a long illness, on May 19th at the age of 80. He had retired from the Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant after 22 years. He then retired from Sears after 20 years.
He and his wife, Pearl, had enjoyed a marriage of 20 years. She was absolutely the love of his life. He also left behind one son, a daughter, six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Jim had been awarded numerous awards and metals in his military career and several from Sears. He was a loving husband and granddad, and a member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood.
Pear and family wish to acknowledge Sharon Rambo for all her help in caring for Jim. She was a blessing.
