Keithville, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of James Earl Stevenson, 59, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Uelyss Reed, Jr. Interment will follow at the Northwest Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana with full military honors. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
James was born on November 13, 1952 to Rosetta Richard and Johnny Lee Stevenson in Port Arthur, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Johnny Lee Lawson, Sr.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of James is his ex-wife, Linda Stevenson of Bossier City, LA; son, Kenneth Stevenson of Sacramento, CA; daughter, Natasha Stevenson of Bossier City, LA; two sisters, Bobbie Taylor of Schenectady, NY and Dy'Meshia Richard of Norman, OK; three brothers, Charles Stevenson and Billie Stevenson of Port Arthur, TX and Isaiah Stevenson of Phoenix, AZ; one grandson, Jayden Cutler of Bossier City, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
