Shreveport, LA Jarrell R. Morgan was born July 7, 1930 in Shongaloo, LA. He went to be with his Lord December 23, 2015 in Shreveport, LA.
Rev. Morgan retired from the US Army as a Chief Warrant Officer after 22 years of service. He later served as a Methodist Minister in the area for more than 15 years.
Rev. Morgan is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jarrell Morgan, Jr., three sisters, and three brothers. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Chong Morgan; daughter, Yong Hee Morgan; son, Chol Ho Morgan; three brothers, Billy, L. G., and David Morgan; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.
Services celebrating the life of Rev. Jarrell R. Morgan will be conducted Saturday, December 26, 2015, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be at 1:00 PM before the service.
