I remember that my dad Eddie always loved stopping to see Katherine and James Albert when he was making his rounds as a patrolman at Cross Lake. My mom Evelyn and dad both thought so much and enjoyed every visit with my moms first cousin. It’s sad seeing my relatives pass on but the knowledge that they are now in their eternal home is a blessing. May Gods peace be with each and every adult child and grandchild as you mourn the loss of a special lady I’m proud to call a cousin. 

A great LADY has gone to be with her Lord.  We will miss her.


Kathryn was a sweet friend, a blessing to all who knew her.  I will always remember her as a wonderful woman of God.  She loved her Lord, family, friends, and church with her whole heart.  She was a very kind and understanding lady who was always encouraging to others.  Our prayer group met at Kathryn and Albert's house many times.  Kathryn was  a strong prayer warrior of the first order!  She is united with many loved ones in heaven now, but she will be missed by all of  those who loved her here.       

Mom loved her church greatly but mostly she loved to serve God.  I remember from my very early years she had all her children in church.  She has always taught Sunday school, sung in the choir. Even before this virus closed churches mom was singing in the choir.
Mom made sure when we were under her roof we attended church. Mom was blessed to see all her children baptized, get married, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Mom loved her family greatly and she prayed for everyone of us. 
Mom will be missed greatly but I have the assurance to see her again in heaven. Mom is whole again and rejoicing with her heavenly family.

Heaven gets sweeter all the time.  
Lauren, I’ll keep you and the family in my thoughts and prayers.  

Aunt Kathryn was a very sweet and gentle CHRISTIAN woman.  She always made me feel like I was her own niece!! Les and I love her so much and just loved her sweet laugh!  She always had a smile for us when we came to see her.  Aunt Kathryn was an example for all woman to learn from.  We will miss you.  Melanie I have grown to know you so much better these last few years and can really relate since I also was the primary caretaker for my mom.  It really takes a toll on you BUT you will never regret one moment!  I love you and all your family!!  She is where she wanted to be with JESUS and Albert!! ❤️❤️

Not many people get the privilege of having their grandparents present into adulthood. I had my Mawmaw at high school graduation, college graduation, vet school graduation, wedding, and the birth of my daughter.
She was there at every State Fair and Southern Show watching me show in 4-H. She always packed the good snacks and had lunch ready to eat between classes. 
We would talk for over an hour on the phone almost every week when I was in vet school. I would tell her my struggles with school and she would listen on her portable headset while canning vegetables from the garden and telling me I was going to make it through vet school. 
She may have not remembered my name in the hospital room when she met her great-granddaughter but her eyes still said she knew me. And oh that baby girl made her smile so big. 
32 years doesn't seem long enough to have had with you Mawmaw but I will eventually have eternity with you in Heaven. You will be missed so much and I look forward to the day I see you again. 

Dear cousins, i have the most fond memories of Bubber and Kathryn growing up. I always looked up to them whether at a family reunion or seeing Bubber at BellSouth. After i retired, i was able to travel to all of the family gatherings and knew the Bubber, Kathryn, Neil and Dorothy would be there too.  After my mom was unable to travel, then i wiuld hitch a ride with them to Mississippi and had a blast ALWAYS.  Im so sorry you had to experience the mental loss before the physical loss, its very devastating for sure. But i know without a doubt that they are all rejoicing in Heaven right now free of all ailments.

My condolences to you and your family on the passing of your Grandmother.  It is never easy to lose someone, no matter your age. I pray for your peace and comfort as you continue your life journey without your loved one's earthly presence.

Memories growing up with this sweet family have been my most cherished memories.
Albert and Kathryn were my second parent, Scout leaders, and Christian mentors. I grieve and rejoice with you all in her homecoming. May God comfort you all during this difficult transition.
