Keith Smith

Keith Smith was born August 24, 1960 in Shreveport, LA to Loyd Smith and Gloria Smith. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1978. He had just retired from Genesis Energy in December 2023 as the Mechanic Supervisor.

Keith enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. You could always catch him in a pair of jeans, a Harley t-shirt, and a bandana. He enjoyed hunting and spending time on his land. He had a laugh and voice you could hear from a mile away and he always filled the room with excitement and love.

Keith passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, NB Murff; grandmother, Ogaretta Gray; grandfather, PT Smith; grandmother, Jenny Smith; father, Loyd Smith; Son, Anthony Smith; grandson, Joey Smith and granddaughter, Katelynn Smith; nephew, Blake Smith.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Liying Xu Beijng “Jenny”; daughter, Nicole Smith; son, Aaron Smith; grandchildren, Austin Rachal (Abi Rachal), Rory Stice, Amber Smith, Gentry Stice, Kaylee Smith, Ansley Stice, and Bentley Stice; great-grandchildren, Oakley Rachal, Brooks Rachal; mother, Gloria Smith; brother Kirby Smith; sister, Sheila Smith Hall (Mike Hall); nephews, Cody Haynes (Allison Haynes) and Chad Smith; nieces, Kayla Smith and Crystal Johnson; and cousins, Shayna Griffis, Stacy Farrell, Robert Smith and Steve Smith.

A visitation for Keith will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108.
