Kerry was a devoted mother who loved her four sons fiercely and never gave up, no matter the challenges life brought her way. She also carried the deep loss of her baby girl, Jordyn, but always held on to hope and faith. She found solace in journaling, praying for her children, and thanking God for each new day.
She grew up in Shreveport, where she built lifelong friendships and was known for her humor, kindness, and signature red hair. She had a strong work ethic and took pride in her career. She began as a casino dealer, quickly becoming one of the best in town, and later found success in construction sales, where she enjoyed learning and growing in the industry.
Kerry’s faith and resilience were evident in every aspect of her life because she always got back up. She was funny, caring, and a friend to many. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence brought warmth to those around her.
She is now at peace, reunited in heaven with her father, Joseph Holloman Jr., and her daughter, Jordyn Peretin.
She is survived by her mother, Sally Gorham; her sons, Tyler Laws (Brittany), Jon-Michael Peretin, Nicholas Peretin, and Christian Peretin; her brother Jody (Colleen) and their daughter, Audrey; and her brother Kevin (Lucille) and their children, William, Elijah, and Aliyah.
Kerry’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will always cherish the love and laughter she brought into their lives.
A celebration of life for Kerry Elizabeth will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108.
