Lee Augustain LaCour Jr.

Lee A. LaCour, Jr. passed away Friday, October 15, 2010. He was born August 9, 1934 in Shreveport to the late Lee A. LaCour, Sr. and Mary Fincher LaCour.

He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law Effie McBride Dollard. He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-one years; Bettye McBride LaCour, his son; John Michael LaCour and wife Paula of Martinsville, New Jersey, his grandchildren Brent, Michael, Connor, Annie, Danielle and Ian LaCour, and his aunt; Verlin Fincher, along with numerous extended family members and many wonderful friends.

He was a faithful and devoted husband with his family centered as the joys of his life. He was retired from LaCour Trucking.

Celebration of Life services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2010 in the Centuries Memorial Chapel with Father LaCaze officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Centuries Memorial Park, Shreveport, Louisiana. The family will be receiving guests for visitation Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Centuries.
