Leslie Frank Lee

Services for Leslie Frank Lee, 82, of Shreveport, LA., will be held March 29, 2023 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home and Park. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Gary Lee, Johnny Johnson, Tim Jones, Kevin Knighton, and Chase Preston.

Leslie passed away peacefully on March 26, 2023, following a lengthy and courageous battle with MSD.

Born on October 10, 1940, to Samuel M. Lee and Frankie E. McDowell in Shreveport, LA, Leslie graduated from Fair Park High School, after which he was employed with Texas & Pacific Railroad, where he retired. He went on to open Line Avenue Collision Center, which he recently sold and retired again.

Leslie was a Mason and a member of the Arcadia Cushman’s Club. He was an avid collector of many things. He enjoyed spending time in his shop restoring Cushman Scooters. Leslie recently sold his collection of restored scooters to brothers from out of state, who were so impressed they decided to call their purchase the Leslie Lee Collection. Leslie also loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel M. Lee, mother, Frankie E. McDowell, and brothers William Lee and Tommy Lee.

He is survived by his spouse of 62 years, Carolyn A. Todd Lee, son Todd Lee and spouse Stacy Lee, daughter Shelley Lee Johnson and spouse John Johnson, son Gary Lee; four grandchildren Brandon Lee, Bailey Williams, Camrie Ryder and Cate Ryder and his beloved dogs Molly and Daisy Mae.

Leslie’s spouse and family would like to thank Danny Adcock for his friendship and all the good talks, good-times, and travels he was a part of. Thank you for being his best friend!

We would like to extend a special thank you to the Willis Knighton Cancer Center staff, Dr Joyce Feagin in particular, for the many years of care provided to our loved one.
