 We went in, she put a shovel in my hands

 She said that I could use it in the back
 To dig up worms by the tree
 I said how'd you know I like bugs
 She said grandmas always know best see

 When I'd go to her house
 I'd get a feeling for which I'd strive
 She always made me feel
 Like I was the most important person alive

 At night when we sat down
 She said grandpa's watching me
 I asked how's he doing that
 She said open the bible and you'll see

 Once I read enough I said I understand
 He's watching us from above
 Because once he died he went to heaven
 When I was talking her eyes were full of love

Honey, I first met you in 1985.  You came to my apartment for my first bible study with my wife and I.  My wife Wandaleah told me you were a kind and wonderful person and would not pressure me.  I never knew Jehovah until you came into my life.  You handled me with care since I was straight out of the Marine Corps with my head full of problems.  You never gave up on me, always patient, alway understanding.  Wandaleah and I both were baptized December 1990.  You cared so much for our children and were always there for us.  I have a heavy heart, cannot express my deep love for you.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart Honey for bringing my family to Jehovah and saving our lives.  I love you.

Dear Paula, Michael and Joy: I am so sorry about the loss of your mother.  I did not know Aunt Honey very well, but I know she was loved by everyone.  I particularly know my father loved her dearly, so please allow me to speak on his behalf and give deepest sympathy and love to you.  We are all happy she can now rest - and that we can celebrate the life of a clearly wonderful woman.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Honey.  She was very dear to me. I will miss her terribly, but I know that her hope for the future is sure and we will see her very soon in the resurrection.

To the Hortman Sisters,
Although this is a time of pain and sorrow it always seems to be a time of rememberance as well.Remembering the childhood you shared ,and the years spent in serving jehovah. are all treasured memories. Soon Honey will be resurrected to a beautiful paradise earth that we have all waited for and prayed for. We can not wait to welcome her back.Many of us who did not get to know her will have the priveledge of serving our Grand Creator with her in God's New World. We always enjoyed MoMo.  She was a God sent. She always wanted everybody to be happy. Thats what I remember most about her. She will be truly missed. Paula if there is anything you need just call on us.  Tell everyone we said hello and MoMo will be truly missed.  Love u family. Will be prayin for the family. To Great MoMo's family and mine; I am so sorry for the loss you are feeling right now.  I didn't get to know her very well but I know her wonderful kids and grandkids and love you all very very much.  I will be praying that God keep you and comfort you.  I know she passed away peacefully knowing how much she was loved by you all.

Paula, Joy and Mike, I was so sorry to read about your mother. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was always there to help anyone in need, I should know because she invited me into her home to stay for a while.  She had a warm smile that gave you comfort no matter what was going on in your life. Joy, you were a true friend that I will never forget.  She has completed her journey here on this earth and now she will have an internal rest in heaven with all her love one's. She will greet all of her loved one's with open arms when you meet again. Honey always made me smile. She brought a smile to my face when I saw her, and even when I think of her now. That is rare in the world in which we live. Much like her mother she was gentle, so kind and always loving and unselfish. Michael, Paul, Joy and Paula were truly blessed to live in her warmth.
