Linda Sue Cobb Bogues was born February 20, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Harvey Beauregard Cobb and Jean Cobb Neuschwanger. Sue, as she was affectionately known by friends and family, retired from the American Rose Society after many years of dedicated work.
Sue loved going camping, finding good deals at garage sales and taking care of flowers. She adored babies and always wanted to hold them. She never saw a baby that she did not want to hold.
Linda Sue passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana at the age of 80. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Charles Cobb and Harvey Cobb, and two sisters, Barbara Pate and Sandra Jones.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Jack Evans Bogues, daughters, Deborah Jean Compton and Barbara Sue Hartley, sister, Patricia Toothman, three grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
