Mrs. Dodd was born Lucille Hinson on Thursday, April 24, 1924 in DeRidder, LA and entered into peaceful rest on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend that would stand by your side through good and bad times. Those that were in her inner circle knew that she had their back even when the rest of the world did not. Mrs. Dodd lived her life as a straight-talker, never afraid to speak her mind to friend or foe alike.
Mrs. Dodd was preceded in death by her loving husbands Selman Alexander, John W. Lewis Sr., Frank P. Dodd; her son, Henry Alexander; her daughter Tracie Alexander; and her grandson Anthony Alexander.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons John W. Lewis Jr. and Jerry Dale Lewis; Daughter, Mary Frances Plaunty; Grandchildren, Tyler Lewis, Heather Cash, Trina Freeman, Tisha Ellisor, Carrie Swanson and Jason Plaunty; Great-Grandchildren, Wesley Cash, Penelope Cash and Genevieve Cash.
