Marie E. Deriso was born April 17, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Benjamin P. Fusco and Valia E. Fusco. She was raised in the Berkshires of Massachusetts and attended Rhode Island College. She then moved to Shreveport, LA, where she resided for 50+ years. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree from LSUS. Her career included many different positions. Over the course of her career Marie worked in several industries, including legal, hospitality and transportation. She approached each with dedication and willingness to learn.
Marie passed aways on Thursday, January 23, 2025 in Shreveport, LA at the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James "Jimmy" Deriso and her parents. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Benjamin P. Fusco Jr., her sister-in-law, Jennifer Fusco and her nephews, Dylan and Tyler Fusco.
A graveside service for Marie will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home & Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
