

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Mary Hill "Susie" Jordan, 68, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2013 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Susie's brother Dr. James Hill. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from the hours of 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jordan was born on December 7, 1944 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on November 9, 2013. Susie was a very dedicated and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and she loved taking them to Kid City, Kiddie Mia's and on family vacations. She was a devout Christian and embodied this in her every day life. Mrs. Jordan was retired from Big Lots and loved her Big Lots family. She was a friend to all and never met a stranger.
Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Neal Jordan, Sr.; her son, Thomas Neal Jordan, Jr. and her parents, Kirby and Ada Hill.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Susie is her son, Joseph Ray "Joey" Jordan and wife Tessa; daughter, Carrie "Sam" Youngblood; daughter-in-law, Carmen Jordan; sisters, Janie Judd and husband Wayne and Sally Brown; brothers, Kirby Hill, Jr. and wife Barbara and Dr. James Hill and wife Phyllis; beloved grandchildren, Amanda Youngblood, Jamie Youngblood, Katie Jordan, Rebekah Fatheree, Eli Jordan, Lauren Jordan, Jacob Jordan, Lela Jordan and Noah Jordan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Honoring Mrs. Jordan as pallbearers will be: grandson, Jamie Youngblood, Trinity Brown, Lonnie Hill, Stuart Tutt, Micheal Brown and Roy Jordan. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Jacob and Eli Jordan.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kay Rinaudo for all the care shown during Susie's illness. the family also wishes to thank Dr. David Green, Dr. Ben Quinney, her nurse Linda and her physical therapist Troy at Lifecare at Pierremont.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to Camp Rainman for Autistic Children-NW LA Autism Chapter, 625 Red Chute Lane, Bossier City, LA 71112.
