Mary Frances Driggers Morgan

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mary Frances Driggers Morgan, 78, will be held at 10:00 am Friday, January 22, 2016 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Munds, Rev. Ray Wilson, Rev. Eugene McBride, and Rev. Jeanie Fentress. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Mary always gave her all in everything she did. She was an extraordinary cook and loved to share that gift with others. She retired from Barksdale Federal Credit Union as a Mortgage Underwriter in 2011. She began working for Citizen's Bank and Trust Mortgage Division as an underwriter in late 2011 and was eventually promoted to Operations Manager. She truly loved what she did and the people she worked with. But her greatest joy was her family. She rejoiced in their accomplishments as if they were her own. She loved to spoil her daughter and granddaughter and absolutely adored her two great-grandchildren. The last few months of Mary's life were spent in total happiness. She was enjoying life like never before and we are so very thankful for the time we got to spend with her. She is loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, James C. Driggers; her mother, Cecile Driggers; her brother, Jim Driggers; her grandson, Jeremy Boyd and her nephew, Jeffrey Driggers.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Simpson and husband Rick; grandson, Jeffrey Boyd; granddaughter, Jacie Wilson and husband Tim; and great-grandchildren, Cruz and Ava Wilson; great nephew, Jackson Driggers and dear friend and sister-in-law, Janice Driggers.

We are thankful she is with Jesus, healed and whole, and we can't wait to see her again one day.
