Matthew Joseph Penn Jr.

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Matthew Joseph Penn, Jr., 20, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday.

Matthew Joseph Penn, Jr. was born on August 10, 1995 and passed away suddenly Wednesday, November 11, 2015. He loved to hunt and fish and made us all laugh.

He has left behind his mother, Mccrea Bracken Watt and her husband David; father, Matt Penn, Sr.; brother, Marc Penn; grandparents, Birney H. Bracken, Chuck and Jessica Penn, Judy Meredith and husband Jerry. Matthew is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He left us too soon and left a hole in our hearts. He was greatly loved by all who knew him and will be missed all the days of our lives.

John 3:16- For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. God has him now.

Honoring Matthew as pallbearers will be: Ben Woodruff, Butch Rinaudo, Jon Michael Papa, Caleb Raley, Marc Penn, Jeffrey Penn, Jonathan Penn, Shaun Kidd. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jamen Papa, Noah Scruggs and Cameron Feazel.
