Paul Otis Flores Sr.

Shreveport, LA- Services celebrating the life of Paul Otis Flores, Sr., 84, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Chad Hardbarger. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Flores was born on October 1, 1930 in Greenwood, LA and went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 27, 2015. He was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away after a lengthy illness.

Paul attended Fair Park High School and worked at Southland Corp. for 25 years. He enjoyed attending services at Emanuel Baptist Church, traveling to CB jamborees, country music, gardening, watching movies and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Mr. Flores was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Mitchell, Sr. and Velma Lafitte; brother, Mitchell and sisters, Ruby Nell, Faye and Mae.

Paul is survived by the love of his life and wife of 64 years, Matty Fay Flores; sister, Velma Lee; children, Paul Jr. and wife Cindy, Bruce, Pam and Sheila Flores; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be: John Flores, Keith Flores, Chris Flores, Bobby Flores, Christopher Bernard, Hunter Flores, Mason Flores and Austin Flores.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dawson Leach, Blake Flores, James Leach and Michael Taylor.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Frank, R.N., Debbie, Dottie and Donna for the care shown to Mr. Flores.
