Pearl Lorraine Lemley

Pearl Lorraine Lemley passed away on April 27, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Pearl was born on August 26, 1934 in Pollack, Louisiana to Odis and Veda Johnson. She resided at Garden Park Nursing Home for the last few years. Pearl was very funny, she teased everybody. The nurses and the aids at Garden Park never knew if she was serious or not. She was very happy at Garden Park. Pearl was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenwood, Louisiana.

Pearl is preceded in death by her husband, James Lemley.

Pearl is survived by her Daughter, Janet Fowler; Son, Danny Futrell and wife Rene; granddaughters, Christina Futrell, Lydia Helton, and Danielle Fowler; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Buddy Johnson, Larry Johnson, and Allen Johnson; sisters Betty Bayne, Evelyn Myers.

A private memorial service will be held at Centuries Memorial park to celebrate the life of Pearl Lorraine Lemley, with brother Job Bob Alexander officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at the Northwest Louisiana Veteran’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the building fund for First Baptist Church of Greenwood, Louisiana.
