

SHREVEPORT, LA - Pete Patterson, age 90, died in Shreveport on New Years Day, 2015 of natural causes, surrounded by family and friends. Pete was an amazing person who lived an exemplary life. He touched many lives throughout his journey on this earth and will be sorely missed.
Born July 10, 1924 in Shreveport, Pete lived here most of his life. He served proudly in the Air Force as a young man and worked for the FAA until his retirement. Pete was a vital member of Southern Hills Church of Christ for over 40 years and loved his church family dearly.
Pete is survived by his loving wife, Jean Patterson; daughters, Kathy Craft husband Ronnie and Terri Nezat husband Steve; and daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Daquilla. To carry on his legacy are a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pete was preceded in death by parents, Audrey & Harry Patterson; brothers, Harry Patterson, Jr and Jimmy Patterson; sister, Nikki Patterson; and sons, Tommy Patterson and Pete Patterson Jr.
Family visitation will take place at Centuries Memorial in Shreveport from 4:30-5:00pm on Sunday January 4th, with open visitation from 5:00-7:00pm. The service will be at Centuries at 10:00am on Monday, January 5th.
Joe Huffman, minister of Southern Hills Church of Christ, will conduct the memorial service. Pallbearers will be Pete’s brothers in Christ, Waymon Wren, Donnie Jordan, John Talley, Steve McDowell, John Schmidt and Ancle Ramsey.
