Mr. Raymond E. "Ray" Cantrell

Keithville, LA-Funeral services celebrating the life of Raymond E. Cantrell, 76, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Glenn Scruggs. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Northwest Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery in Keithville, LA. Visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Cantrell was born on December 30, 1937 in Nashville, AR and passed away on November 19, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. Ray loved fishing, hunting and was a dedicated Mason and Shriner. He was a member of the Martin Mc Clanahan Lodge #384, where he was a past master. Mr. Cantrell was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Mr. Cantrell was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Chad Everett Harville.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Ray are his wife of 53 years, Jo Cantrell; daughter, Carol Leigh Thomas and husband Rodney L. Thomas; one granddaughter, Chelsea Danielle Thomas; special nephew, Bob Colvard as well as, numerous other relatives and friends.

Honoring Mr. Cantrell as pallbearers will be: Randy Sasser, Billy Coppage, Ricky Coppage, Mickey Gilcrease, Jared Thomas and Chris Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be: Stephen Tingle, Ben Earl Coppage, Christopher Colvard and Jason Colvard.
