Robert L. Bridges, Born November 21, 1938 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He beat cancer on March 25, 2018, and is now in a place where he has no pain or grows old. Where without rough times and some failures, he would have missed many blessings. Such as his sweet and loving wife of over 52 years, Margie, who stuck with him though it all, without a whimper or complaint. His children, Stacy, David and Michael, a Daddy who couldn’t have been more proud of them.
He served his country twice, first in the Army Reserves, 1957 to 1962, and then in the Navy, 1965 to 1969, two west Pac’s to Vietnam. To his many friends in G.A. he has prayed, they will continue to give hope to others, as you have given to him, and that you all have an even better and more blessed life. He knows he will meet again those who have gone ahead such as; his father, Lewell C. Bridges, mother, Helen K. Bridges, and brother, Charles Lee Bridges.
To celebrate his life will be his family, friends, and members of the G.A. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Robert name to the organization of your choice.
