Nécrologie de Timothy "Tim" Vincent Stephens
Timothy “Tim” Vincent Stephens, 61 of Stonewall, Louisiana went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 19, 2020. Timothy was born on July 4, 1958 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Robert Forrest and Anne Marie (Brocoto) Stephens. Tim graduated from Jesuit High School in 1976 in Shreveport. After high school he joined the United States Marine Corp, and honorably served his country as an Air Traffic Controller. After returning from active duty, Tim attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing. He continued his education further, receiving a masters in nursing and his Doctorate in Chiropractic. Tim was a compassionate and faithful Christian, he honored God in all walks of his life. He always stood for what was right. He was known for his continuous smile, laugh and compassion for others. Timothy had a love for animals. During his free time he would volunteer with the Red Cross, helping those in need. He also enjoyed body building, his daily bible devotionals, reading documentaries and history. Timothy was a devoted and loving family man, who had the biggest heart. Tim is proceeded in death by his mother Anne Marie Brocato and father Robert Forrest Stephens. Left to cherish Tim’s memory is his wife Kathy Stephens; daughter, Kaila “Pace” Stephens; brother, Ron Stephens (Suzi); sisters, Patricia Stephens Brice (Al), Theresa Stephens Redding (James), and Deborah Stephens Hilton (Lee); step children, Candace Franks (Bo), Jason Pace, Jeromey Pace, and Jacob Pace; grandchildren, Mackenzie Graner, Landon Graner, Jaxson Franks, Abby Pace, Brodey Pace, Dusty Pace, Maddox Pace; and many nieces and nephews. The family regrettably cannot come together with his friends to celebrate his life at this time, because of the restrictions in place during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Once precautions are lifted, a memorial service will be scheduled at Rose Park Baptist Church to accommodate friends and family hindered by the current pandemic. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Intensive Care Unit nurses at Willis Knighton North, Dr. B.J. “Rocky” Maddox the pastor of Rose Park Baptist Church, the staff at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. The family would also like to thank everyone for all the prayers, kind encouraging words, and concerns during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, expressions of your sympathy, can be made by donating to the Go Fund me Memorial Fund honoring Tim Stephens.
