Virginia McDaniel Day

Virginia McDaniel Day was born April 25, 1936 in Elizabeth, Louisiana, her parents were John and Elberta Willis McDaniel. She went to be with her Lord December 17, 2020 in Shreveport. Mrs. Day was a cake decorator for several years running her own business and also worked as a Cafeteria Manager at Summer Grove Elementary for more than 15 years.

Mrs. Day was preceded in death by her husband Bill G. Day; her parents, John and Elberta McDaniel; and several siblings. She is survived by her children, Malcolm Day and his wife Brenda, Teresa Micheels and husband Mike and Alisa Leung and husband Pete; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers; other relatives and many friends

A service celebrating the life of Virginia McDaniel Day will be held Monday, December 21, 2020, 11:00 AM at the pavilion in Centuries Memorial Park. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.
