W. Leo Norris

Shreveport, LA W. Leo Norris, 73, went to be with his Lord suddenly, February 1, 2014 in Shreveport. He was an active member of Summer Grove Baptist Church for more than 42 years.Mr. Norris was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Crawford Norris. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 53 years, Jan Norris; his daughter, Stacy Worley and husband Frank; son, Scott Norris and wife Leslie; a sister, Mary Coleman; three grandchildren; his loving dog, Sadie; other relatives and a host of friends.A funeral service will be conducted at Summer Grove Baptist Church, 8924 Jewella Ave., Shreveport, LA Wednesday, February 5, 2014, 10:00 AM. Officiating will be Bruce Hardcastle, Rev. Murray Hodge with Rev. Billy Crosby singing. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, February, 4, 2014 from 5 to 7 PM at Centuries Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA.Pallbearers will be Jody Winkler, Bubba Green, Eddy Lilley, Charles Frazier, Simon Shively and Henry Touchton.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals, 3100 Sanford, Shreveport, LA 71103 or the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, 7200 Desiard St. Monroe, LA 71203.
