William G Ferguson

William Gordon Ferguson, age 85, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, January 17, 2022. William was born March 12, 1936 in Trenton, New Jersey to William and Mary Ferguson.

William was a 1955 graduate of Pennsbury High School, Fairless Hills, PA. He attended Rider Business College in Lambertville, NJ. He was an accomplished Sales Engineer in the oil & gas industry. However, his love and devotion for his family was his greatest accomplishment. He was affectionately known as Bill, Ferg or Pop and was a friend to all. He was a loving and kind man. He enjoyed family vacations, playing golf, watching football games, collecting coins and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss their "Pop".

William was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marjorie Croyle.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Dorie Ferguson; daughter, Kim Bailey (Cliff); son, William S. Ferguson; granddaughters, Melynn Brown (Stephen), Megan Bailey Gil (Esteban), grandson, Chad Bailey (Danielle); great grandchildren, Asher Bailey, Sidney Brown, AnnMarie Bailey, Walker Brown, Lucas Gil and Beck Bailey; brother, Robert C. Ferguson.

A family Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Shreveport, Louisiana. A private Graveside Service will also be held at a later date at Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
