William L. Hardy

A memorial service celebrating the life of William Love Hardy, 92, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Sales. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Mr. Hardy was born on August 25, 1925, in Victoria, TX to parents, Orin and Neta Hardy and passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. He enjoyed reading spiritual literature, watching the grandkids, and collecting hats and pens. He also liked to travel, participate in missions for church, telling jokes, eating, telling stories, and making everyone feel good. While working for Security Insurance Company, Mr. Hardy won multiple awards for his many sales accomplishments.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; daughters, Norma Lozano, Angie Granger, and Kimberly Harris; sons, Sami, Stephen, Kenneth, Scott, Micah, seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Bobby's daughters, Abylene and Lyla and his grandchildren, Miranda, Whitney, Marshal, and Wesley; and his brother Johnny's daughter, Dianna.

Mr. Hardy is preceded in death by his grandmother, Hattie Belle Web; his father, Orin John Hardy; mother, Neta Belle Hardy; brothers, Johnny, David, and Bobby; and his daughter, Vivian.
