A visitation for Willie will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. Following the visitation there will be a graveside service at 12:00 PM at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd, Keithville, Louisiana 71047.
Willie honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. After serving, he experienced a very successful career in the oilfield, retiring after many years of hard work. He was extremely skilled at his job, as a completion consultant. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and friend. Willie was always supporting and loving to his family and friends. He would keep everyone in line with his Steno notepads. He enjoyed watching horse racing and old westerns from his recliner and going to the casino with his wife. He lived a "mighty good" life.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janet Dupre, son, Brett Dupre (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Joshua Dupre and Melanie Morgan (Tripp); great grandchildren, Joshilyn Dupre, Shantal Roger, and Pam Gautreaux.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ron Dupre.
