Wyatt worked at Precision Drilling as a driller for the last three years. Before that he helped his dad run Porterfield Towing Service for ten years.
Wyatt is survived by his parents, Wyatt, Sr. and Bettie; one brother, Richard; four children, Cody, Mariah, Makayla Porterfield and Shelby Gordon; two grandchildren; a nephew, Pavin Porterfield, and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA, Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, March 21 from 5 until 7 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Kipp Girdner, Danny Fuller, Donnie Leone, Donald Cruse, Darron Hinton, Tom Washburn, Alternates are Paul Hough and Skeeter Peoples.
