Arnold Avery Malone

MALONE, Arnold Avery, 94- formerly of Enfield, Nova Scotia, passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, St. John's, Newfoundland. A veteran of WWII, having served with the RCAF, Arnold continued a career as an aircraft engineer with MCA, Nordair and IMP Aerospace. Arnold was predeceased by his wife Dorothy Lillian (Larkin), his sister Ida (Nickerson) and his grandson D.J. Left to mourn are sons Paul (Brenda) and Kent (Cathy), grandchildren Erin (David Walls), Shannon (Terry Burke), Liam (Christine), Clarice (Troy Rose) and great-grandchildren Avery, Brayden, Caleigh, Connor, Ella, Abigaial, Jenna, Rachel. Cremation has taken place in Newfoundland. Funeral services will be held on 2 pm Saturday, Oct. 23, at Elmsdale Baptist Church, Elmsdale, Pastor Michael Trites officiating. A reception will follow the service. Interment will follow at Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Elmsdale Baptist Church or to the Salvation Army.
