Betty Marie Roy

ROY, Betty Marie (Hennigar), Ryans Creek / Dartmouth, joined her husband Edwin Keith in death on March 8, 2011, from the Dartmouth General Hospital at the age of 76. Betty was the youngest daughter of the late Charles Orin and Nellie O’Neta Hennigar of Five Mile River, Hants County. Betty is survived by her son Glynn (Tina) Roy, daughter Janet (Gordon) Nash, granddaughter Leann Nash. She is also survived by sisters Mavis, Hazel, Pauline and Merna; brother Gerald. She was predeceased by brothers Nelson, Vernon and Blair. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home. There will be no visitation as requested. Funeral service 2pm, Saturday, March 12, 2011, at St. David’s United Church, Maitland, Rev. Roger Moore officiating. A private family interment will be in Oak Island Cemetery, Maitland.
