Donna Faye Dalrymple Gorman

GORMAN, Donna Faye – 68, of Dartmouth and formerly of Coldstream, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Roy L. and Stella M. (Hilchie) Dalrymple. Donna worked for Kraft Canada, Nabisco and Canadian Canners retiring after 36 years. She most recently worked for Advantage CKN in Bedford. Donna had a great affection for cats. She is survived by daughter Bonnie M. Butler (Larry), grandchildren Amanda Lynn (Aaron), John Edward (Amanda), all of Dartmouth, sisters Jacquelyn (John) Newcomb, Walton, Beverley Dalrymple, Lower Sackville, brothers Michael Leigh and Larry James (Janet) all of Stewiacke, brother in law George Zinck, also many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her loving husband Edward in 1999, sister Judy. Visitation will take place 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday with Funeral services 2 pm Friday, September 24, 2010, followed by a reception all in the Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, Exit 10 off Hwy 102. Lori Crocker DM officiating. Interment in the Gays River Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Lung Association or Breast Cancer Foundation.
