It seems that the English language is so vest that there are always enough words to express how we feel. But it is in this moment that I realize this is not true. There can be no words Frances, which can express how sorry I'm about the passing of Nelson. After his passing the world has lost a funny big hearted person. His light and laughter can never be replaced. Though saddened by his loss, I will forever be grateful that I had the chance to know Nelson and be teased by him.

Francis, I was so shocked when I read the death of Nelson,my husband and I came to your home quite a few times when you lived in North Range, many years ago, and we always had such good times and you both always made us feel so at home, Iwish all you family and you our condolences and I know Nelson is still watching over you as he always did. Francis and children, I am saddened about the loss of Nelson I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to meet him and be invited in to your warm loving home. He really was such a wonderful human being. I know my brother Buddy is feeling the loss of his best friend. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to know such a wonderful man. My brother Buddy cherished the ground he walked on and will always be his best friend. I shared some great laughs with him and Fran and was able to be in there lovely warm and welcoming home. I really believe the angles are blessed to have him by there side. Dear Ones:

You were such a close family and I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.  It is never easy letting the one that you love so dearly take that step into eternity, leaving you behind.  Death is an appointment that we will all keep and nobody is ever late.  Thank God that He allows us to harvest and to store up precious memories all along life's journey for such a time as this and for the years to come.  There is absolutely nothing that can take away such a deep sense of abandonment and loss at a time like this, however...we can draw strength and resolve from those fabulous memories we've accumulated over the years of loving one another!

I very much enjoyed talking with Nelson here at my place of business and out and about, no matter where it was...we always had time for each other.  He was a very kind and gentle person who loved you all more dearly than words can ever say.  I lost my mom back in November and I know the hole in my heart it has left.  However, I know she is reunited with my sister and others who've preceded her, just as Nelson and Tammy are now together, to be separated no more!  What a time of rejoicing and excitement that must be...something those with faith can look forward to!!!  Our loved ones are not gone from our sight forever; they are merely on the other side, cheering us on, hoping that we make the right decision that will see us safely home in the arms of Jesus in due time, never to be separated anymore.  In a place where death, sickness, pain and suffering are no more!  Life eternal reigns forever!

I was very saddend to hear of Uncle Nelson's passing. You are all in my thoughts at this time. I will always remember him as a man who loved life and brought much joy into mine, aswell as Miss Bailey. She was very heartbroken by the news. I wish I could be there with you but know that you are all always on my mind in my heart.

I still will never forget walking into your house at the age of 16yrs and your dad telling you to wash the rugs....never heard of that before but low and behold you washed the rugs with a mop. Didn't tell you this but years later while cleaning the Fire Training Centre in Edmonton where the big wigs work. I washed the rugs with a mop! It lifted the dust and made them look new again...So then I knew...:-)  I can't help but smile as I think of Tammy smiling and laughing now with her dad and how much trouble they will stir at those pearl gates.

Love you always & forever Uncle Nelson! My most precious memories of my visits to Nova Scotia, are the ones that involved you! You always made them very special! You will always be loved & missed Uncle Nelson!
