Scott Curtis Matthews

MATTHEWS, Scott Curtis, Truro / Shubenacadie, passed away in the Mira Nursing Home, Truro on Monday June 4, 2012. Born on October 11, 1942, Scott was a son of the late Randell and Alma (Cameron) Matthews. Scott was a surveyor by trade and worked for various construction companies in Hants and Colchester Counties before his illness. Scott is survived by brother Ervin (Annette), Shubenacadie; sisters Marjorie Mailman, Enfield; Shirley Bowen (Ron), Spanish Ship Bay and Deb Lutes, Liscomb; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara, brothers John and Graham, nieces Cathy and Jeanne. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held 3:30pm, Thursday, June 7th , in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie (exit 10 off Highway 102). Rev. Beth Brehaut officiating.
