
Annie Lee Ledbetter, 99, of Sikeston, died May 19, 2011 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born February 14, 1912 in Charleston, to the late William S. and Lucy Meisner Forrest, she was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston. On December 1, 1934 in Benton, she married Rufus Jackson Ledbetter, who preceded her in death on November 13, 1991.
Also preceding her in death were one son, one daughter, one brother, and one sister.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Donald and Linda Ledbetter, Dennis and Diane Ledbetter, and Paul Ledbetter, all of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Tim Jones of Indian Mound, TN; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Saturday, May 21, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be held on Sunday at 2:00pm, with Rev. Joe McCullough, pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Joe Ledbetter, Tod Ledbetter, Dennis Ledbetter, Brad Ledbetter, Toby Ledbetter and Chad Ledbetter. Honorary pallbearers will be: David Jones, Bryn Ledbetter and Brett Ledbetter.
