On April 18, 1926 she was born to the late Chester and Augusta Townsend in Marston, MO.
Later she married Charles E. Carroll in Lilbourn, MO. on January 21, 1941. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2010.
Bernice is survived by her two sons and one daughter in law; Mark A. Carroll of Sikeston, MO. and Charles Lee and Sandra Carroll of Murphysboro, IL., along with one sister Myra Ransdell-Blankenship and Randel Blankenship of East Prairie, MO., and five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 12:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Davis officiating.
A private family interment will be at a later date.
