Edward L. Freeland, 57, of Sikeston, died January 19, 2012, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born November 13, 1954, in Charleston, to the late William Inman and Helen Pearl Freeland, he was employed by Triangle in Sikeston for 30 years, and was also employed by the DeWitt Company in Sikeston. He was of Baptist belief.
Survivors include: his former wife, Teresa Freeland of Sikeston; one son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Amanda Nicole Freeland, Jr., of Sikeston; two brothers, Paul Freeland of East Prairie and Harold Winkler of Sikeston; one sister, Linda Martinez-Smith of Morehouse; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 24, beginning at 10:00am until time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Larry Sandage of Dexter, officiating.
Following services, a private disposition of his cremains will occur at a later date.
