Geraldine Karnes

She was born on September 19, 1941, in Bell city to the late Earl Hassel and Christine Cantrell Scott.

On November 19, 1959, in Crowder, MO she married Ival Gene Karnes who preceded her in death on October 17, 2023.

She is survived by one son, Craig (Lisa) Karnes of Bertrand, MO; one daughter, Darla (David) Hamlin of Hollister, MO; four grandchildren, April (Brent) Williams, Danielle (Nick) Little, Amber (David) Ruedrich and Tyler Karnes and seven great grandchildren, Ryan Little, Cadence Little, Collin Williams, Clara Williams, Keira Ruedrich, Addison Ruedrich and Bentley Ruedrich.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Dean Karnes, one brother, Larry Scott and one grandson, Ryan Scott Hamlin.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO where funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. with David Hamlin, officiating.

Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley, MO.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Karnes, Ryan Little, Collin Williams, Brent Williams, Nick Little and David Ruedrich.
